Solčava was not settled until the time of or shortly before the dominion of the Gornjegrad Monastery and the Counts of Celje. It is certain that the farms were first settled by the Carantan Slovenes before the year 1000 (Valent Vider, Notes on Solčava and its surroundings).
Tourism in Farm Valentina
It is located 3 km from the village of Solčava in the direction of the Logarska dolina valley. It is an excellent starting point for excursions in the Solčava region. You can hike on foot from the house to Olševa. Guests can relax on the terrace in front of the day bar, and there is also a hairdresser’s salon in the house.
