Hiking and Herbs Festival 2026

We invite you to the Hiking and Herbs Festival, which will take place in the Solčava region from June 15 to 21, 2026.

The festival brings together nature, local heritage, knowledge, and active leisure. It offers visitors a variety of experiences that allow them to get to know the Solčava region up close—its people, traditions, natural features, and abundance of herbs.

During the festival week, various events and activities will be available, including:

• a hike along the water trail,
• learning about the butterflies of Solčava,
• experiences at local farms,
• exhibitions,
• felting and herbal incense-making workshops,
• the opening of the photography exhibition “Mountain Wilderness Through the Lens” and the presentation “Safe and Responsible – From the Peaks to the Depths
