Saturday, September 20, 2025 – Road closure for day visitors as part of European Mobility Week
On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Logar Valley Landscape Park will be temporarily closed to all day visitor vehicles for the first time in history. This important measure is part of the broader European Mobility Week project, which this year runs under the slogan “Mobility for All” and aims to promote sustainable modes of transport – primarily walking, cycling, and the use of organized transport.
LEAVE YOUR VEHICLE OUTSIDE THE PARK
The closure will be in effect between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. During this time, private vehicles will not be allowed to drive through the park for day visitors. You can park in the following marked parking areas before entering the park:
- Podbreg parking area
- Parking area at the Chapel of Christ the King in the Logarska Valley
- Jezera parking area (before the Logarska Valley)

USE OF PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION NOMAGO
During European Mobility Week, which takes place between September 16 and 22 each year, we will upgrade everyone who enters the park using Nomago public bus transport to sustainable entry. Winners will receive their prize in the form of a voucher on the bus at the entrance to the Logar Valley Landscape Park.
Check out the TIMETABLE.
Bus stops in Logar Valley:
- Logarska Valley-sestre
- Logarska Valley-hotel
- Logarska Valley-slap (runs in September)
FREE TRANSPORT THROUGH THE PARK
You are invited to experience the Logar Valley in a different way this time – on foot, by bike, or with a free shuttle service that will run regularly between the entrance point and the Rinka waterfall. This is an exceptional opportunity to enjoy the silence, fresh air, and sounds of nature without the noise of cars.
FREE ORGANIZED ACTIVITIES FOR FAMILIES
When nature comes alive in peace and quiet, you and your families are invited to join in fun games with local guides from Solčava. You will experience nature in a slightly different way… you will listen to it, admire it, smell it, and laugh – and give it what it deserves, your heart and peace.
The activities will take place in the park, and the meeting point is at TIC Logarska at 12 noon.
WHO CAN ENTER BY CAR?
Certain exceptions will still apply – entry will be allowed to local residents, guests with reservations, public buses, and emergency vehicles.
This year’s European Mobility Week activities for the Municipality of Solčava are being organized by Center Rinka.
