European Mobility Week in the Municipality of Solčava

In 2026, the Municipality of Solčava will once again participate in the European Mobility Week project, Europe’s largest initiative to promote sustainable mobility and more responsible travel habits. This year, too, we will use various activities to highlight the importance of more eco-friendly modes of transportation and encourage walking, cycling, public transit, carpooling, and other sustainable solutions.

In the Solčava region, we aim to create an environment that is welcoming to both locals and visitors, while preserving natural values and the quality of life for future generations.

European Mobility Week is not limited to a single week of the year; rather, it encourages long-term changes in people’s mindsets and daily habits.

In recent years, as part of the project, we have carried out numerous successful activities related to sustainable visits to our destination, the use of public transportation, organized transportation, raising awareness about reducing traffic, and promoting active leisure time.

This year, we are once again preparing an engaging program for people of all ages, through which we will work together to build a more connected, accessible, and sustainable future for the Solčava region.
